About Us
First Due Laser Designs is a family-owned business based in Acworth, Georgia, run by a firefighter-and-nurse duo who understand what it means to serve — and what it means to get the details right. Since opening our doors in 2011, we've built our reputation on custom laser engraving and craftsmanship for the people who show up first: firefighters, police officers, and the departments that support them.
What started as a passion project between two first responders has grown into a full-service engraving and gift shop, serving departments and individuals across the greater Atlanta area and shipping nationwide. Every challenge coin, helmet shield, engraved tumbler, and piece of fire department gear that leaves our shop is designed, proofed, and produced in-house — because when something's meant to represent a department, a milestone, or a person, it deserves more than an off-the-shelf template.
What We Make
Our work covers custom challenge coins, fire and police department gear, engraved drinkware and decanter sets, knives, leather goods, apparel, and personalized gifts for weddings, retirements, and milestones. Under our Black Widow Outdoors line, we also carry fishing and outdoor gear — including our Skeleton Optics eyewear — for customers who spend their downtime on the water.
Why Departments and Individuals Choose Us
- First responder-owned, first responder-focused. We're not a general gift shop that added a "firefighter" category — this business was built by people who've worn the gear.
- In-house laser engraving. Every design is proofed with you before production, so what you approve is exactly what ships.
- Fast turnaround. Most orders ship in 2–3 business days, with rush options available.
- Real relationships with real departments. We've worked with departments including Marietta Fire on coins, apparel, and department gear.
Where We're Based
First Due Laser Designs is located in Acworth, GA, and proudly serves fire departments, police units, and individuals throughout Acworth, Kennesaw, Marietta, and the greater Atlanta metro area — with orders shipping nationwide.
